Just call me a Rouxsician. I’ve been working as a vocalist since I was 13 years old. I started out in wedding bands with dear old dad, then branched out into complex original projects by 16. I am also a lyricist, vocal coach, and a whiz at music trivia. Chances are, if it’s music, I already love it!

#60SECONDCOVERS: A Quarantine Musical Project

When the pandemic hit in 2020, I quickly found myself without a job or much direction. In an effort to reconnect with music and keep creating during a time of isolation, I started a weekly #60SecondCovers project on Instagram. Specifically, I arranged, played, recorded, edited, and posted micro-covers of songs I loved every week for 2 years straight. I even got to collab with some cool, amazingly talented folks over the expanse of the internet. Cyndi Lauper even shared one!

There are sooo many imperfections in these videos, but I’m quite proud of them as a collection. They documented a ton of artistic growth and kept me accountable to my craft. Plus, they were *really* fun to make during a really *unfun* time. You can peruse most of the #60SecondCovers I produced on my Instagram profile. Who knows, a rogue 60SC might appear on your feed someday soon.
